D'eagraigh An Bruach Thoir comórtas ealaíne ar théama Lá Fhéile Pádraig do phaistí bunscoile i nGaeltacht Oirthear Chathair na Gaillimhe. Fógraíodh na buaiteoirí cúpla lá roimh an Fhéile agus bronnadh na duaiseanna sna scoileanna éagsúla.
An Bruach Thoir organised a St Pat's Day Art Competition for primary schools in the Gaeltacht of Galway East. The winners were announced a few days before St Patricks day and award ceremonies were held in the various schools.

Bhí na bunscoileanna uile sa cheantar páirteach as chomórtas: Scoil San Proinsias, Tír Oileáin; Scoil Bhríde, Mionloch; agus Scoil Cholmchille , an Caisleán Gearr. Bhuaigh daltaí ag gach scoil duaiseanna – dearbhán do Smyth Toys.
Ba mhaith linn buíochas ó chroí a ghlacadh leis na foirne teagaisc sna scoileanna uile as ucht an obair mhór a rinne siad. Léirigh na daltaí an-shamhlaíocht agus an-scil sna hiarratais.
Béarla
All the primary schools in the area partcipated: Scoil San Proinsias, Terryland; Scoil Bhríde, Menlo; agus Scoil Cholmchille , Castlegar. Every school produced winners.
We would like to thank the staff of each school for all the time and work they put into the competition. The pupil's skill and imagination was evident in the entries.
